Any girl between the ages of 7 and 10 can become a Brownie, providing she is able to understand and is willing to make the Brownie Guide Promise. Brownies follow a planned program of activities which aim to be both enjoyable and constructive. This wide range of activities encourages the girls to meet challenges and work for interest badges.
Each pack has at least two adult leaders, plus helpers and a choice of official uniforms. The Brownies are grouped into sixes which gives them an instant group of friends. Each Brownie pack pays a pack subscription at the beginning of each term, this covers the cost of insurance, equipment, badges, a donation in lieu of rent and the Annual Guide Association membership to Guide H.Q. We are invited to join the other uniform groups at special Church family Services 3 times a year.
2nd Banbury Guides
The Guides have reformed this year and meet weekly at the Church.
